I have always been very active, and I especailly love the outdoors, the closer to the water the better. I was raised on the beach in So Cal and have participated competitively in runnning, cycling, tri's and outrigger canoeing. The water is near freezing here (okay, that's a stretch) but I still need to get out and surf! In the past year I have discovered hiking, trekking and backpacking and I have really enjoyed discovering NorCAl! I love surfing, but still a novice, and need an inspiration to get me into this sub zero water to surf again! Paddleboarding a close second. I adore animals and do some pet sitting just for fun while I await a new pet of my own. I enjoy indie & foreign films (most others too), a great bold Zin and traveling the globe. I have a career and that stays at work when I leave for the day... I am a dedicated yogi in mind and body; intellectual conversation about science, philosophy, the arts/music/film, culture and current events is a really nice change of pace from the physical stuff too. I am newer to the Bay area, so I am interested in a hiking pal on the same level as me, and eventually, someone to share intimate times with too ... this lotus is blossoming! Ready to share more of the Bay area, and then enjoy a siesta in the sand with someone positive, happy and amazing! I love to laugh (mostly at myself), and I appreciate others who can be gentle and kind, and still represent themselves as outgoing and confident. I like a strong and sensitive personality who is willing to communicate about everyday things, but especially the important things.
