I'm still very much a beginner and I'm better at falling off my board than riding a wave, but I still absolutely love it, it's my new obsession. I used to think I was probably more of a mountain person - I do like to hike - but lately I've realized I love being in the ocean and to combine that with doing something physically challenging is exhilarating.
