I am looking for an athlete and intellectual with a passion for surfing who wants to take fun stylish surf trips both near and far. Although I came to surfing late and I am no Stephanie Gilmore, I love love love the waves and took to surfing like it was made for me. I have surfed in Nica, Mex, CR and LI and want to try out as many unknown breaks as I can in the coming years.
Other sporty passions of mine are tennis, running, boot camp, rowing, snorkeling, and of course swimming. I ski too but prefer the beach to the mountains as I get older. I was a competitive gymnast as a kid and used to compete in triathalons (the shorter kind) and road races.
I have several degrees, spent a lot of time developing my mind in higher education, so in addition to being sporty I am curious and well informed. I run my own industrial design business, and care as deeply about the built environment as the natural one. My business give me a fair bit of leeway to take off for trips and I want to meet someone with a similar abilities who is also looking for an on-going surfing pal and companion.
